International Schools in Malaysia

An international school is an institution that aims to nurture the minds of young people while instilling lifelong learning, respect, sensitivity to cultural diversity, effective communication, and global awareness. There are several schools in Malaysia, including Tenby Schools, located in Ipoh, Shah Alam, Miri, Johor, and Johor Bahru. A good example is Tunku Putra International School, which opened its doors in 1997. It is owned by Cahaya Mata Sarawak.

Another excellent international school in Malaysia is Kingsgate International School, which is located in Selangor. The British curriculum is globally recognized, and the school follows a syllabus closely aligned to the UK’s national curriculum. However, the US does not have a national curriculum, and thus there is little comparable in terms of educational standards. Nevertheless, this does not mean that you should avoid visiting international schools in Malaysia if you are serious about your child’s education. international school fee malaysia

The school has an on-site farm, where students can help out with animal care and other skills. The school prides itself on nurturing the self-esteem of students and is considered one of the best international schools in KL.

The disadvantages of an international school: Some students may not fit in with the local culture, and the staff may try to impress foreigners by displaying their own cultures. They may also find it difficult to make friends and build relationships with local students. If you are a first-generation student, you might find it difficult to fit in. Nonetheless, international schools are an excellent choice for children who want to learn about the world.
